The Dabbler.

Many sites of major firms came down with a powerful crash, and there are far more to follow.

Their sites are being taken down in hordes, and the, "techno-wizes" are falling into displeasure. As the Economy slowed, a lot of corporations down sized their operations, and worker layoffs are rising. There's a general "belt tightening" at each level, and the heady expenditures of last year are being looked at with a "jaundiced eye". Whilst the jobless rate increased barely to four. You'll be facing less competition from the sites that have gone south. This can accurately be described as the age of the "dabbler". The "arm chair" entrepreneurs overcame, and buried the major ones with their submissions. Ecommerce is the product, and 'dotcom' greediness, the waste ; and in it's wake is strewn a colourful web community, oozing a robust keen flow of community and trade presence. The Net is still a place in which to find liberty to trade, get entangled in community activities, and push oneself in a pioneering way. Sadly the Net was exploited early on by the 'get-rich-quick' opportunists, funded by 'investment return' hungry backers, who awfully quickly saw the capability for so very little cost ; and hijacked them to be used as the tools in the subsequent patron revolution.

Luckily though, what the opportunists selected to blank, to their peril, was that THESE customer types were not patrons in-confirmation, they were only 'potential' consumers, and still terribly non-public folk being 'home-invaded'. This was the urgent picture they missed, the signpost they missed whilst cruising at dangerous high speeds. A large amount of the "garbage" will vanish, and you will find instead advertisements from people who are serious about conducting business. So what will this mean? If you mix this idea, with that of several of the major companies deserting their net presence, it will mean that more folk will find your internet site. This is indeed, a wonderful opportunity to build your business on the internet. What will you market? What will it cost - who is your competitors - what's the pricing for similar products? These are all queries that should be answered before you're taking step one. If your answers to these questions are positive, get your own domain and build your site.
